IMAP or POP3? Use IMAP if you read mail on more than one device. Pick POP3 only if you want mail downloaded to one computer. Not sure? IMAP.

Set up a device

Use the settings above wherever a field is requested.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts
  2. Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account
  3. Name, full email address, password
  4. Choose IMAP
  5. Fill in both sections — outgoing is not optional

Outlook (Windows)

  1. File → Add Account → your email address
  2. Advanced setup → IMAP
  3. Incoming 993, SSL/TLS
  4. Outgoing 465, SSL/TLS
  5. Sign in with your full email address

Android

  1. Mail app → Add account → Other
  2. Email address → Manual setup
  3. Choose IMAP
  4. Security SSL/TLS
  5. In 993, out 465

Mac Mail

  1. Mail → Settings → Accounts → +
  2. Other Mail Account
  3. Name, email address, password → Sign In
  4. Account type IMAP
  5. Both servers: mail.ezmailsetup.com
